  1. Whoa, Dave. Granted I haven’t been reading very long, but that took me by surprise. Those last three panels were really great. I like how the sound effect of the horn stretches across the last two panels. Is that the killer’s perspective in the fist panel? Seems really high up.

That’s Mike in the first panel (just as in the last… and peeking out in the second)… I agree with you that the perspective is bad on that one, he’s just supposed to be hiding behind a tree across the street, not staring down at the scene from up on a hill 30 yards away from the road. Live n’ learn…

    This was a hard page to do for me… not just because I totally suck at drawing cars, either. The staging of it could have maybe used a little more room to breathe, but I wanted it to be quick, sudden… Kayla is caught in one of the few moments in her life where she could be taken by surprise in this way (because of her previous confrontation with Mike).

    Plus, I gotta admit… I love the murdering witch. But, have to serve story over characters….
